| yeah lookit my red ear 1 day later!

|
| i'd previously keep looking at myself in the mirror thinking my feather labret would eventually look FANTASTIC in that spot, sooo... *shrug* it's a step in that direction now. & here we go months and months and months of the healing process..... ughhhhhhh.

| ok, NOW!!! what i didn't really expect or moreso what i should've probably expected—is the utter tantrum/meltdown my piercing next door (aka conch ring) would have over this new addition. i mean, it was already angry from switching the ring quite a few times throughout the last month, yet i figured it'd be alright since i'd managed to "deflate" almost all of the bump that had popped up. but that surprise new piercing really threw it off over the edge, goodness gracious.

| the following sunday/monday(?) night after getting pierced + while trying to clean my ring cuz it had a bit of dry blood on the back, i felt a sharp pain i'd never quite experienced before when dealing with piercings. not even sure how to explain it, really. little did i know i'd be spending the following days getting random doses of shooting pain popping back in my ear and trying all the tricks in my book to make the bump go down. meanwhile my freakin' brand new piercing is COMPLETELY FINE. (go figure!!)

| i truly had to "baby it" as they say on youtube piercing videos. daaang. after lots of effort, it's actually looking a lot better now. the bump is much smaller + i'm feeling way less pain. which is good cuz, no, I'M NOT GETTING RID OR LOSING THE M*THERF*CKER. 3 years since i've had it, so. here to stay.

| having known all of this crap beforehand, would i do it all over again? but 'fcourse. 😂
