bike ride

MONDAY 15TH;

1st weekday of my vacation week. slightly cold out for this time of the year but at least it's sunny! yaaaa, let's go let's go let's go......

the soil was wet as f*ck and pretty gross (sorry shoes!). also got stabbed in the leg by some nature-thing underneath the highway:

yikes... thankfully i've been able to remove the spike right away by pulling on it!! cuz i was quite far from home at that point. neilmed wound wash to the rescue upon my return.

so i legit kept this in my freezer for 2-3 years in hopes of possibly liking it one day forthcoming:

turns out the taste was actually worse than i'd recalled. 😂😵 swear to god this crap is dry as f*ck and BEYOND DISGUSTING. don't know how vegans do it. fed the remains to my compost bin. AT LONG LAST!!

never ever ever again.

money matters

received THE awaited follow-up from the company that's taking care of my income tax crap late on friday. another year... *drumrolls* another win! not only am i not owing anything but i'm actually getting back:

thank you, RRSP, for allowing me to reach that success. 👍👍

i guess that'll sorta-kinda-but-not-really make up for my 5.24% upcoming mortgage renewal. *sigh* signed it march 26th but apparently i've still got 'til late may to get a new contract to sign in case the rates fluctuate enough before the actual end of my current mortgage. nevertheless.....depressing as f*ck.

on friday i also decided to put punky back on hyperthyroidism medication, so along with vet follow-ups that's not exactly going to be cheap. hopefully with the proper dosage this new attempt will be more successful this time around. *fingers crossssseedddd*!!@#
