| rainy day off & heading out to montreal to catch a late showing of depeche mode's latest live movie M! arrived ahead of time to shop/browse around...

| just felt a bit tired, bought nothing but a few practical things, did my best to stretch time before the movie...

| despite a slight headache peeking around the corner, here we arrrre:

| the joy of picking a movie showtime ending near midnight on a weekday = super small crowd. yesss!!

| ok. thoughts. not sure if i really had expectations to begin with, but i guess if any.....sadly they weren't exactly met? it felt oddly bland to me (and dare i say it—slightly boring). i mean, it was ok. & that's as far as it goes. most likely deep down i was hoping for something more along the lines of 101. well, obviously minus the entire roadtrip thing and 80s feel and the energy of youth from decades past. but ya know. how about showing some behind the scenes? hearing dave and martin's thoughts instead of just see them on stage for the exact same show i'd already seen live twice in an era where full shows easily end up on youtube anyway? also while i understood the whole mexico/death theme, i REALLY wish they had focused more on the band. oh well. *sigh*
