FRIDAY 16TH; eryn came to pick me after i was done with work (bearing gifts!); the we took off to see billy idol! other than dealing with the most obnoxious biatch in front of us dancing with arms flailing in the air 😑😑🤬 for the first couple songs in the set ('til eryn had enough and politely asked her to sit down as she got extremely bothered and soon left 😂), WE HAD A REALLY GOOD TIME. most classic songs were played, thank you thank youuu. !!

THURSDAY 15TH; aftermath of burning my fingers on tuesday touching a pan right out of the oven at 400°F (dumbdumbdumb but it happened so freakin' quickly) and consequently applying ice on the burn for hours prior to learn that's one of the last things you should be doing (ergghh 🥴): not looking so bad at ALL! barely any blister! seems like soaking in water for the remainder part of the night really paid off.

WEDNESDAY 14TH; actually finished this project a little while back but i'd thrown the shirt in the laundry basket afterwards and kinda forgot about it. BUT HERE IT IS NOW: (i did it myself omgzwtf$#@$%?? 🙌)

FRIDAY 9TH; post receiving a bunch of rain as remains of tropical storm debby, let's just say it was pretty much over by evening. nevertheless that's when the lights started flickering (oh nooooesss) to finally cut off around 9:15pm. sulk. after finding my flashlights and given that the fact it didn't seem to want to come back immediately, i tried to think of stuff to do in the meantime. only thing i could find was to get the scissors and cut more shirts towards my clothes-altering projects. the electricity only came back around 11pm, so 1h30 later. could've better, could've been worse. just sucks for a friday night! not long after electricity was back + hearing a loud noise outside: silly punky came RUSHING back inside the house completely soaked!!!! 🙀 giving mémère one hell of a scare and obviously dropping puddles all over the house. 😭 wowz, what a fun evening. i can only assume she slipped to the bottom of the empty pool where some water had been accumulating from the downpour...?? anyway, her heartbeat was crazy!

WEDNESDAY 7TH; why yes, it's another lovely day to goddamn SWEAT! sweat & deal with people who—for whatever reason—stop to take their breaks inches away from where i settle to take photos even though paths stretch for MILES around *facepalm* and ultimately discuss why there's 2 ways to say thank someone in english; - [woman]: "tu dis 'thank you' quand y'a juste une personne pis 'thanks' quand y'en a plusieurs!" ooookkk. alrightie, photos under the sun: p.s.: current state of my A/C filter...! daaaamn.
