| ok, so. i'll be honest. i will admit i wasn't all that thrilled about nick cave's upcoming show. cuz (& maybe this is silly but) for however much i like him, i wasn't fond of the latest album "wild god". as a matter of fact i barely ever played it since it came out, ha ha. but hey. WHATEVER. let's go anyway...!! |

| found my seat. waited. two loud women smelling like patchouli eventually came to sit right behind me—a few kicks to the back of my seat as a bonus. *eyerolls* .....hahhaahh BUT. after a while and before the show started, they came to realize they weren't sitting in the right section and left. F*CK YEAH. i had nobody sitting to my right and two girl friends to my left. they were ok thank gawd. another girl was sitting next to them and kept excusing herself for coming in/out of our aisle. |

| NO OPENING BAND BULLSH*T. APPROX 2½ HOUR SET. granted, i didn't get all of these "yeah yeah yeah" screams throughout *frown* but other than that... terrific show. nick cave is the most hardcore (musician or otherwise) person over 65 yrs old i know. "papa won't leave you, henry" as an encore was crazy. ♡ let's just forget the loud obnoxious guys in the audience who pretty much ruined "into my arms" with their awful singing at the very end! |
