| k so the concert ended relatively early and given the timing, i still had a full hour to kill before my next bus came around. the weather was nice so i figured i'd try to walk (instead of taking the metro) although i wasn't familiar with my surroundings in this area of the city. according to map data, it'd take approx 30 minutes. totally do-able.

| it was around that point i started thinking i might be heading in the wrong direction but kept going anyway (cuz i was already too far invested, right!!)

| besides, the bridge far away in the distance:

| kinda gave me hope with its shape was looking a bit like champlain's.

|
|
| but when i later crossed monk blvd, i knew i was in deep sh*t!! for a while i did walk up that street in hopes of finding any metro station and/or clues, to no avail. doesn't help that i don't have any internet data on my phone. so, there i was officially lost. my last bus home was at 12:30am and i'd better start walking the same path backwards if i didn't want to sleep on the floor that night! *facepalm*
