| went to tropicazoo to check out the cats: there were only three whom i didn't especially connect with + were rather on the expensive side. anyway yes, guess that means i officially began my quest to possibly adopt a new cat (or two) a few days ago. and.....hell, i dunno. why do i already feel like it's just f*cking complicated?? perhaps it's the pressure of lucking out ideally finding a perfect sibling duo again, or because i'm too picky with cat colors (or just picky overall), or the way the entire process with shelters is much more of an hassle than when i spontaneously acquired mémère & coconut in a pet shop back when pet shops had a larger selection. anyhow. *sigh* i already did fill out a form with the catchat shelter which i've been pre-approved for, but these extra steps of sort of being interviewed + cat visit at the foster home + if you adopt a baby that's considered too young to get neutered yet, you have to bring him/her home right away then later BRING HIM/HER back ONLY TO THEIR VETS at the set required age?? ergh. when you don't drive and have to ask people around instead, just, ergh. i mean... i fully do understand why there's steps but, ya know.
